Character Limitations
Quite a few things go underneath this category. Primarily, and probably the most important thing to consider, it is one character per account . To have more than one character upon a singular account is utterly confusing, and results in bad role-playing procedure. You can create as many accounts, and as such as many characters, as you would like, but please keep in mind that you cannot have more than one character on an account. If account is found with more than one character, admin deletes one and chooses which.
Beyond that, some types of characters and races are requiring of Admin Permission (AP). Anything marked within the "Races" area with "(AP)" means that you must have the admin's approval before making this character. The reason for this is simple- some races are simply more powerful than others are or require advance role-play. The admin needs to know that you are not going to abuse your position as a member of that specific race or able to properly role-play the said race. If you are found with a created character that requires (AP) and you have not obtained it, you will be banned , with absolutely no exceptions.
Spell and Talent Limitations
Magic spells or anything for that matter, you can make up on the spot in general. However, keep in mind of your character limitations when doing this. For example, you cannot use fire tier 3 spells when you only have tier one. Also, keep in mind, just because you have a high level tier in magic, your control over it still limited and you’re not resisted to your own flames. What this means, you can’t have your hands on fire and throw fire punches just with fire magic, you can’t fire balls spinning around you in protection either. Now, we are not saying it impossible to do this. With the right Classes and Talents, you can do this easily. Just remember, talents can support each other and be used in variety of ways.
Obtaining Items
Items are obtainable in several ways. You can go to the shop and gain some basic item needs. However, while all of the prices are standardize depending on tier (for NPC SHOPS), it doesn’t mean that flat amount is the same for you. Depending on your race, the shop prices will either increase or decrease. So please, keep an eye out on races treatment in regard of this matter.
You can hunt and obtain items from drops. In each creature, there is a drop list. All creatures have their own set of drops from killing them or defeating them. However, they are mainly for constructing materials. It in your best interest read carefully what creature drops what.
Mission and jobs can give you items. The mission often include the said rewards, sometimes they give a flat item or a flat reward of Gald (site currency). So make sure you read the mission carefully.
By crafting, you can obtain items easy with this. You can gain material from shops, hunting, and missions/jobs. You can create unique items under this system. However, to do this you require having the proper Talent to perform this. You may hire other members on the site to do it for you.
Timeline
Important Note - Currently, liquid RP is being tested on this site. You may be in three threads at once. This means that you are allowed to be in multiple threads on a singular character at once. One RP thread, one training/crafting thread, and one mission/job thread. The standard IIC time for all threads is 48 hours (2 days) so you should not fear being stuck in a thread if your partner suddenly becomes inactive. You must exit a thread that you are currently within in order to role-play in another thread. If you are spotted breaking this rule, you will receive disciplinary action.
Post Warning
If your post contains things of a graphic nature, please put a warning in the title of the thread, like a note of [18+, gore] or the like. This is to ensure that nobody has to read something that they do not want to. If you are caught with a thread of "R" Rated material and there is no warning, you'll be given a verbal warning. If the issue continues to persist, then you will be given true disciplinary action.
