Alchemist
Alchemy is considered as a science study, there are countless of possibilities for an alchemist. They are partly able to cast magic, however their magic is never so potent as a magicians but they do have a unique magic element called Arcane. The arcane arts are neutral to each other elements, that means they don’t win or lose to any other elements. Arcane magic always deal a base value damage, yet they are still subject to potency reduction from other defensive spells. Arcane magic can only be channeled through a metallic staff.
- Must start with talent called "Arcane Magic"
- Limited to 3 magic talents max (required to start with 1)
Talents:
Alchemy - User is able to synthesize very basic alchemical items using recipes either found somewhere or self-created. An example of a basic item would be a spoon, a shovel, healing salve, biscuits and etc. There are more branches known for alchemy in this world however the fields are still not fully developer. This talent is the requirement for other sub-talents (sub-talent still takes a talent slot) shown bellow.
- Medical Alchemy: Creation of medical salves, elixirs and the likes, goes much further than the base talent
- Combustion Alchemy: Creation of bombs and other explosives
- Metallic Alchemy: Creation of enhanced metals for blacksmithing use
- Blacksmithing Alchemy: Creation of enhanced weapons, tools and other such things
- Fabric Alchemy: Creation of enhanced fabric for tailoring use
- Accessory Alchemy: Creation of enhanced accessories for daily use
The user is able to go into any number of sub-talents however they can master 4 at most. (Tier 3 is considered mastering)
Tier 1: Able to attach a maximum of 1 trait into any item the user creates.
Tier 2: Able to attach a maximum of 2 traits into any item the user creates.
Tier 3: Able to attach a maximum of 3 traits into any item the user creates.
Using alchemy to create items takes a certain amount of time. The base time for each item is stated in the recipes, however even the easiest items cannot be created in under 1 hour.
- Items with 1 trait takes an additional 10 hours to create.
- Items with 2 traits takes an additional 15 hours to create.
- Items with 3 traits takes an additional 20 hours to create.
There will be skills you can acquire under the alchemy talent as the user levels up to reduce the amount of time it takes to create an item. There will even be skills to make certain sub-talents more potent.
